Wrexham Beer Festival

Info

After the success of the first two Wrexham Beer Festivals in 2009 and 2010,  Chester and South Clwyd CAMRA are pleased to he holding the Third Wrexham Beer Festival.

The festival will be held, again, at Gresford Colliery Club, just on the outskirts of the town. Visitors can expect approximately thirty two beers from local breweries and from futher around the UK and around six ciders and perries. The popular (albeit labour intensive) skittle alley will be making a welcome return. There will be music at the evening sessions and once again, Saturday lunchtime will be a quiet session. Once again there will be various culinary delights being served from the kitchen.

Unfortunately there's no Wales Rugby match to screen on the friday this year so it'll be all about the music. A screen will be on hand for the Italy v. Wales game on the Saturday afternoon

All the beers and ciders/perries will be at a very reasonable £1.25/half or £2.50/pint.

CAMRA members can claim a free half pint by presenting their membership card when they enter the venue.

Again, there will be three separate sessions;

  • Friday 25th February - 7pm to 11pm (Admission £3)
  • Saturday 26th February - 12pm to 4pm (Admission £2)
  • Saturday 26th February - 7pm to 11pm (Admission £3)

All admission prices include a program and a free half pint for CAMRA members on production of their membership card.

For any other questions or information, please e-mail info@wrexhambeerfestival.co.uk.

Please note, there was a rumour going around the town that the venue is in trouble and that our festival may not be going ahead. These rumours are untrue and everything is on course for another fantastic weekend. -- JamesB 18-02-2011
